Vaginoplasty / Vaginal tightening
A vaginoplasty is really a “facelift” for the vagina. It can be caused by the effects of childbirth, aging, or trauma. The vaginal tissue can become stretched and lose their strength and tone. This can create an empty and unsatisfying feeling that many women feel can, and may also be felt by their male partner during intercourse. After a vaginoplasty it can increase friction during intercourse and can enhance intimacy
A vaginoplasty aims to tighten lax muscles and tissues and remove excess vaginal skin to reduce the diameter of the vagina. This will result in a smaller and tighter opening and vaginal canal. The vaginal tightening is done in the entire length of the vagina and not merely the opening few centimetres.
Vaginal repair can also include full depth repairs like the superficial perineoplasty repairs.
